Maybank

Maybank Asset Management Sdn Bhd (MAM), a wholly owned subsidiary of Maybank Asset Management Group Berhad (MAMG), has acquired a 99% stake in PT GMT Aset Manajemen (GMT) to expand Maybank’s fund management presence in Indonesia as well as to complement the business entities of MAMG in the ASEAN region. It will also create an opportunity for GMT to promote its products in the region by leveraging on Maybank’s presence.

The Acquisition is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings, net assets and gearing of Maybank for the financial year ending 31 December 2013.
