Maybank is pleased to announce its recognitions received at the prestigious Graduate Employer of the Year in Malaysia’s 100 Leading Graduate Employers Award, GRADUAN Brand Awards and Talentbank’s Graduates’ Choice Awards this year, underpinning the Bank’s long-standing excellence in driving the human resource industry in Malaysia.

In a series of announcements, Maybank remained the first and only financial institution to ever be named Graduate Employer of the Year in Malaysia’s 100 Leading Graduate Employers (M100) Award - a recognition received in 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

This year’s win makes Maybank the only organisation to have ever won the award seven times since its inception. In addition to leading the overall title of the 100 most popular employers, Maybank was named winner in the Banking and Financial Services category for the thirteenth year running.

Group Chief Human Capital Officer of Maybank, Datuk (Dr) Nora Abd Manaf said that these accolades are a testament of the Bank’s unwavering commitment towards achieving excellence in human resource, and it is imperative to continuously monitor talent and capacity building initiatives to ensure the future-readiness of our talent pipeline.

This will be furthered with the smart use of innovation to drive productivity, and build knowledge and skillsets of our employees while embracing an Agile culture that is progressive and inclusive at the same time.”

Further demonstrating the rising stature of Maybank among graduates, Maybank was also awarded Malaysia’s Most Preferred Employer 2023 at the GRADUAN Brand Awards 2023 for the ninth time and recognised as Most Preferred Employer in the Banking & Finance sector for the tenth year running.

In addition, Maybank was named the most attractive graduate employer, bagging Talentbank’s Graduates’ Choice Awards Overall Winner for the sixth year running, making it the only organisation to have ever been awarded this prominent recognition since the inception of the award in 2018. The award wins are also a demonstration of Maybank’s ongoing commitment to empower and develop youths, shifting its focus from exclusivity to inclusivity by strengthening its #MYouth community via GenM, a platform that brings together youths to recognise their potential while building and creating an impact for the community.
