One of the most distinctive trophies in the world of golf is the Maybank Championship’s eye-catching Tiger Trophy.

Conceptualised and designed by Maybank and intricately crafted by Royal Selangor, the trophy is a modern sculptural art form of our iconic Tiger head symbol. Weighing close to 7kg, the intricate masterpiece is crafted from pewter and sits on a wooden base.

Adding to the trophy’s relevance is the fact that the Tiger is part of the Malaysian coat of arms, symbolising national dignity and pride. The trophy also illustrates the aims of the Maybank Championship to be ‘courageous, creative and collaborative’ while playing our role in nurturing golfing excellence across the ASEAN region, as we Retake the Green.
